Maritime Brass Quintet

Halifax based MBQ performs music ranging from renaissance and baroque to jazz, folk and contemporary. While the core group is a quintet, our concerts might feature any size ensemble, from solos to full-size brass as well as collaborations with choirs, organists, concert bands, percussion and solo artists – you’ll just have to go to our concerts to find out for sure what’s in store. The one thing you’ll come to expect, though, is high quality performances of all kinds of music for brass.
